IRT Xel: No, it's almost exactly the same in the anime. You first see Inuyasha in his human form when he, Kagome and Shippo get mixed up with a girl named Nazuna and are lead back to a temple, where she lives under her master, an old monk. It's episode 13 in the anime and volume 5 in the manga.
